A meeting of the Four Points by Sheraton Advisory Board took place in New York on July 18 2006. An overview of the meeting is as follows:

Brief review of 2007-09 Strategic Plan Impressive number of hotels in the pipeline. The board asked for more detailsd information relating to location specifics. Also, how many of these new properties in the pipeline are new builds vs. conversions, and international vs. domestic. Hoyt to provide the board with the information requested Prototype The board expressed interest in the vertical prototype and cost per sq. foot. Information to be sent to te board on the floor plan of New Homestead prototype The brand team will forward a copy of the existing floor plan to the board. New Collateral /Advertising / Photography Collateral is still not available, although note sent out about availability on July 15. Paula to follow up about all issues and will send status to field. Simple Pricing Discussion on the issue of simple pricing and more to take place Hoyt will respond directly to individual board members. New Amenities Need exact schedule of availability.Brand to get rid of old inventory in order to move everyone to Caswell Massey immediately. Would like to see updates in newsletter to announce to staff. Ensure that pricing will not be affected by oil increases (shipping) Kristina will issue specifics on when orders can be placed and projected shipping date. Outdoor signage will be delayed due to issues with freestanding signs. Memo to be sent to field. Partnerships AOL/Intel Eventually make Front Desk Video Display online, and interactive (online concierge). Intel to provide hardware for guest terminals in lobby. US Airways Branding in-flight products with Four Points by Sheraton Get exposure in in-flight videos, ads in in-flight magazines 2007 Marketing Co-op Fee Change This will allow all properties access to the Field Marketing program. The program will be scaled to meet the needs of each market. A summary of the Field Marketing program to follow from Hoyt. By a majority decision, the Advisory Board voted to go forward with change and for this to be re evaluated in one year. Board requires a summary report on a quarterly basis, and reports to General Managers on a monthly basis. Board requires a mid-year review with Field Marketing, and a kick-off meeting with them. A session will be incorporated into the October meeting with Field Marketing to review the program. Nonsmoking The Advisory Board agreed that the brand should review this with North American Owners. Fall in Love Day – October 11, 2006 in White Plains Invite development and broker community Tie in next Advisory Board meeting Hold next GM Certification program at same time. Have Board speak with the GMs. Global Summit in Spring of 2007 Have Advisory Board meeting with international owners. Upgraded Rooms Need consistent package to market through SPG channel Rolling out with Board’s properties, and receive their feedback. Uncomplicated Meetings Ann Arbor and FP Milwaukee to be added to pilot program. Four Points Portal Hoyt presented the rationale for proceeding with a Four Points portal at this time.
