Steve Tipton is the Vice President of the Simmons Mattress Contract Division. The Atlanta based bedding company is a world-wide supplier of Simmons Beautyrest® to the Hotel industry. Simmons in partnership with Starwood developed the Westin Heavenly Bed and is the current supplier of all the Starwood Brands with it the Simmons Beautyrest® with Pocketed Coil® Springs. This design is featured in the entire product offering. Simmons has 17 manufacturing plants in the US, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada. Simmons supports Starwood with 17 customer service representatives, and other support team members. The Starwood hotel group is directed by Melissa Purdy mpurdy@simmons.com, Director of Sales, Simmons Hospitality Bedding.
The Simmons Starwood partnership has been one of innovation and new design. A tribute to this focus is the new Heavenly Bed II, featuring the EverNU® replaceable top. This feature adds years to the comfort life of the mattress and a consistent guest experience and now is available as an option all products designed for all the Starwood Brand Portfolio.
