As Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Pellerin Milnor Corporation Terry Satchwell is responsible for business development in the hospitality, healthcare and correctional markets. Milnor is the leading manufacturer of industrial laundry processing machinery with numerous patents that reduce water and energy consumption. Since 1947 Milnor laundry & textile processing equipment has been installed throughout the world in markets far ranging from the hospitality industry to meat processing plants. Key markets include hotels, resorts, cruise lines, healthcare facilities, jails, prisons and commercial laundry plants.
Terry joined Pellerin Milnor Corporation in 1993 as Vice President, Western Division as an executive officer and board member. He has extensive experience in working with hotel brands, hotel management companies, architects, engineering firms and industry consultants in the development of BOH (Back of House) operations. Including laundry, linen distribution, housekeeping and uniform issue areas. Prior to joining Milnor Terry held the positions of Sales Engineer, Senior Project Manager and Vice President for the largest laundry machinery distributor in the USA. He also worked as a Senior Project Manager earlier in his career for an international food service & laundry consulting firm in Miami, Florida. His career spans over 31 years of experience in Textile Laundering.
Over the past several years Terry has worked closely with Starwood Hotels & Resorts on the Westin, Sheraton, Aloft, Four Points by Sheraton and Element brands. Milnor offers assistance to hoteliers regarding; Laundry Design Services, Audits & Surveys of Existing Properties, Economic Analysis of Operating On-Premise Laundries versus Outsourcing and Linen Distribution Analysis. Basically all facets of laundry/linen operations from guest use to guest use.
Terry has been recognized and awarded the "key man," "heavy hitters" and various "vendor appreciation" awards by leading organizations within the laundry machinery industry. He and his wife Diane have three teenage children and enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest. Skiing, golf and backpacking are among his hobbies. Terry is a member of AH&LA, ITRA (Independent Textile Rental Association), ARTA (American Reusable Textile Association) and WTSA (Western Textile Services Association). Terry also serves as Chairman of the Boy Scouts Troop Committee #190 of which Jonathan his son is a Life Scout.
