Prior to graduating from Boston University School of Hospitality Administration, Louis worked through the ranks of all departments of his families hotels. It was considered an absolute requirement for incoming management into the business to have had real grass roots, hands on experience from washing dishes, Bell Desk, Front Desk, Food & Beverage through to housekeeping and the rest.
Later on, as president of Karger Realty Inc. Louis took the small family business, with just 10,000 square feet of Industrial/Warehouse space and a 1960's Howard Johnson Hotel to a whole new world. Today the company has grown into a much larger multi facet real estate company comprising 150,000 square feet of class A office space, 750,000 square feet of retail space and a newly developed 180 room Four Points by Sheraton hotel.
For someone who’s first love is the hospitality business The Four Points by Sheraton Hotel at Boston’s Logan Airport is the jewel in the company crown for Louis. This newly developed hotel has management and staff who are as passionate about the hotel and its guests as Louis is himself. One unique feature of the hotel is an outstanding Japanese Restaurant called Bisuteki, located just of the lobby. This has provided first class Sushi to thousands of Logan Airport’s travelers.
Today, Louis and his company are actively pursuing additional development opportunities in the hotel market.
