Hung was born in Hong Kong and moved with his family to the United States at the age of four. After settling in the North East of the USA, Hung completed his education at New York University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Marketing, Business Management and Accounting.
Following a number of successful entrepreneurial endeavors' in the Fashion Industry, Manufacturing, Importing and Real Estate Development, Hung decided some ten years ago to expand the Real Estate side of the business into hotel investments. Since that time Hung has been associated with over twenty five hotel projects with a variety of brands including Holiday Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn by Marriott and independent boutique hotels.
Hung's first major venture with a Starwood brand was the decision to brand the 158 Room Manhattan, Chelsea - New York City investments as a Four Points by Sheraton. The success of this hotel resulted in Hung further investing in New York City and in Four Points by Sheraton. He is now building a 150 room Four Points by Sheraton hotel in Soho - New York which is scheduled to open in the summer of 2007. Other Starwood brand developments currently on the drawing board include a Sheraton in Brooklyn and another Four Points by Sheraton, this one in Times Square.
In addition to all the hotel development he is also developing several residential Condominium projects.
