Dennis Whiteside is Vice President, Marketing and Sales, for AT&T Wi-Fi Services, which operates the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network. He is responsible for the business unit’s marketing and sales operations including marketing strategy, product management, marketing communications, inter-carrier relationships, sales, and technical sales support. Previously he was Assistant Vice President, AT&T Consumer Marketing, with product management responsibility for DSL and U-verse broadband transport, Consumer Wi-Fi, broadband CPE; satellite-based broadband services, and WiMax.
Mr. Whiteside joined Southwestern Bell Mobile Systems in 1985. Since then he has held a variety of management positions in cellular sales, wireless strategic planning, and international corporate development. Mr. Whiteside has worked on wireless projects in more than a dozen countries; from 1998-2002 he led the company’s GSM cellular partnerships in Switzerland and the Netherlands.
